COVID-19 Pandemic Furlough at meetNKY

As some of you may know, The B-Line bourbon tour of Northern Kentucky is the brainchild of meetNKY, the Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau. meetNKY works to promote travel, tours, conventions, and meetings in the NKY and Cincinnati region.

Here on The B-Line, of course, we especially love talking about America’s Native Spirit and why NKY is such a great place to “find your sipping point,” whether you’re a bourbon connoisseur or bourbon curious.

We’re sure you’re already aware that the travel industry was one of the first affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, most of our staff is furloughed as of Friday, April 10. There are still a few people staying on to take care of things for meetNKY and The B-Line, but it’s a much smaller number. We won’t be able to reply as quickly as usual and we have to postpone most of our usual work.

As we mention here in our recent post on the meetNKY blog, one of the best things about promoting this great region is engaging with you—travelers and locals. We love sharing what we love in NKY and talking about why it’s such a great place to visit.

We can’t wait until we’re on the other side of this Coronavirus pandemic and come back to share our stories with you again. Cheers, y’all! As our Governor tells us every day, “We will get through this. We will get through this together.”
