As some of you no doubt remember due to delicious memories from last year, The B-Line® is a regular sponsor of Braxton Brewing Company’s Dark Charge Winter Block party. Last year, we even partnered with them on a tasty variant – the Chocolate Pretzel Bourbon Ball.
For those of you unfamiliar with the Dark Charge Winter Block Party weekend, it’s an annual celebration held the first weekend of December for the release of Braxton Brewing Company’s Dark Charge Imperial Stouts. It’s a road-trip worthy event for craft beer fans. Every year they create new variants of their rich bourbon-barrel aged Imperial Stout. Past years have included Tiramisu, Chocolate Hazelnut Coffee, and Coconut Cream Puff, to give you some idea of what to look forward to in 2023.
This year, we’re excited to be working with them on a very special new event as part of Dark Charge Winter Block Party weekend. Stave: A Night in the Dark happens on Friday, December 1, starting at 6:00 pm. It’s a limited ticket event featuring a seven-course dinner paired with various Dark Charge pours and exclusive New Riff cocktails. The food will be provided by these B-Line restaurants: Bouquet, Coppin’s at Hotel Covington, Lisse, Pompilio’s, Rich’s Proper, and Smoke Justis. There will also be live music and “a feature discussion of the intersection of beer and bourbon from Braxton Brewing Company Co-Founder Evan Rouse and New Riff Distillery Co-Founder Jay Erisman.”
Saturday, December 2, brings back the all-day Dark Charge Winter Block Party. Taste all the delicious variants, eat great food from local restaurants, and enjoy live entertainment.
