National Bourbon Day is celebrated every year on June 14 and here at The B-Line® we can’t wait for 2022’s version!
Our B-Line stops are busy making tasty plans for the day. Here are the details, hot off the digital press:
Boone County Distilling Co. – “We invited the bars and restaurants along The B-Line out to the distillery in April 2022 to hand select a 7 year cask strength bourbon only available at B-Line bars and restaurants, not at the distillery,” said Jack Wells, Co-Owner, Boone Country Distilling. “What better way to celebrate National Bourbon Day than to release this barrel pick for bourbon enthusiast to enjoy, in partnership with these great NKY bars and restaurants?”
Boone County Distilling’s B-Line Barrel Pick is 74% corn, 21% rye and 5% malted barley. It will be available at all of The B-Line® bars and restaurants on June 14, 2022.

Over in Newport, Ky. at The Purple Poulet – We’re cooking up a combination dinner/drink special for National Bourbon Day.
Cajun surf-n-turf, featuring a 14 oz blackened ribeye with shrimp and crawfish in a bourbon cream sauce over buttermilk-bacon mashed potato. Accompanying dinner will be our southern buttermilk biscuit with bourbon-peach jam and our signature blackberry old fashioned. All the above for $58.
The Globe Covington will open at 4pm and is offering $8 New Riff and Boone County cocktails or drinks.
Smoke Justis – Obviously we have to celebrate Smoke Justis style and go BIG. We will be partying all day, open to close. That means starting at 11 AM our staff is ready to kick off one of the most exciting days of the year.
We will have a featured flight, giveaways and raffles, $5 Old Fashioneds and more. We’ll be setting up a cigar area on our patio for all you cigar-lovers (anyone excited for a nice cigar and some Buzzard’s Roost Cigar Rye?). We will also be hosting a four-course meal with whiskey pairings for each course. Get Tickets for the Bourbon Dinner. They’re first come first serve for the first 50 people. The menu looks amazing and the pairings came from Jade Colwell – winner of Cincinnati Alchemy Fest’s Cocktail Competition.
We’ll also have an all day food special that will feature a house smoked pork tenderloin sandwich. The smoked pork tenderloin will be topped with a Brussel sprout slaw and an old-fashioned themed sauce hitting off the components of citrus, bitters, and cherry. With a side of fresh cut fries for $13.
The main dining will be bourbon forward by featuring a B-Line Flight all day.

All Day: We will also have $5 Old Forrester Old Fashions, a Bottle Shop blowout to call attention to our carry-out license. Special sale on Bourbon Club Memberships and door prizes given out as well. Grand Prize is a miniature Bourbon Barrel and a Bottle of the B-Line Boone County Pick (Bourbon must be purchased at our cost).
We will be opening up the Bourbon Lounge early that day at 11 AM. The lounge will be open to the public from 11-3:30 and closed from 4-9 for the Women’s Bourbon Social. Remember you can still enjoy all the specials in our Main Dining Room though! We will reopen the lounge business as usual from 9-close.
Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar – Happy Hour event hosted by “BARRELL” Bourbon 4-6pm including a BARRELL Whiskey representative and BARRELL Whiskey specials, swag, and features!
Also we’ll be pulling out specials from own OKBB Vault all day and night!
Libby’s Southern Comfort – All day Tuesday, June 14th Libby’s will offer $5 Cheerwine Bourbon Slushies and $2 off all pours of Buffalo Trace Bourbon.

From 11:30 am to 10 pm, we will be pouring all of our Barrel Pick Selections at 50% off and running 10% off all bottles in our Bottle Shop.
