Where is The B-Line located?

The B-Line isn’t one specific place. Instead, it’s a group of distilleries, bars, and restaurants that embody the spirit of bourbon culture in Northern Kentucky.

The Kentucky Bourbon Trail® is just distilleries. Why are there bars and restaurants on The B-Line?

We feel that there’s more than enough bourbon love to go around. Bourbon starts with the distilleries, of course, but here in Northern Kentucky our culture is steeped in it, too. The B-Line has 10 of the Best Bourbon Bars in the U.S, according to The Bourbon Review, and our restaurants offer bourbon-infused menus.

Ok, I like celebrating bourbon. How does a business become part of The B-Line?

Every distillery on The B-Line has to be part of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®. Restaurants on The B-Line need to have 50 different bourbons at minimum and the menu should feature a signature, bourbon centered dish.For a bar to be accepted on The B-Line it needs to stock at least 100 different bourbons.Both restaurants and bars have to stock bourbons from The B-Line distilleries and offer flights and specialty bourbon cocktails. For all B-Line stop types, the business has to be locally owned.

How do I know I’m at a stop on The B-Line?

Having your digital Line Guide is a great way to make sure you are at the right place. But if you don’t have the digital guide you can check out the list of stops on The B-Line’s website, look for The B-Line cling by the door, The B-Line barrel head on display, or paper Line Guides available for pick up.

What is this B-Line Line Guide you mentioned?

The B-Line Line Guide is your guide to all the amazing places that are part of The B-Line. It lists every stop along with their address and a description and a recommendation for each one. The digital version lives on your phone so you’ll never forget it! In addition, the digital version has special offers at several of the stops when you check in. Things like lower pricing on pours, discounts for merchandise, even free appetizers with a meal.

What do you mean by check-in? How does that work?

At each stop either check in on the app or get your paper Line Guide stamped. Once you visit 2 bars, 2 restaurants, and 2 distilleries you can submit your information for free swag from The B-Line!

I love free swag! What can I get?

We have several items to choose from! For apparel we have our popular bourbon joke shirts, and mesh trucker hats. For your home bar we have rocks and Glencairn glasses etched with The B-Line’s logo. Or maybe you would prefer a set of whiskey stones or a marble coaster to add a special touch to your next at home pour.

Alright, this sounds pretty nice but... I’ve never heard of some of these distilleries. Are they any good?

In a word, "Yes!" and we've got many awards from the San Francisco World's Spirit competition as well as accolades from the bourbon-knowledgeable like Fred Minnick, Peggy Noe Stevens, G. Clay Whittaker, and Maggie Kimberl to prove it. But at the end of the day, The B-Line stands for more.We welcome everyone, from the most refined palette to the bourbon novice. We have several options for you to visit as many B-Line stops as you want. On this site we have three different itineraries that will all have you ready to request your free B-Line item. Tour With Us KY also offers many safe and fun options to experience The B-Line with a group. They offer 4 different B-Line tours and the option to create a custom itinerary. If I like a bottle, where can I get my own?

All of the distilleries on The B-Line sell bottles from their shops direct to the consumer. In addition, several of the bars and restaurants on The B-Line have bottle shops: Smoke Justis, Bouquet Restaurant, Revival Vintage Spirits and Bottle Shop, Rich’s Proper Food & Drink, Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar, Prohibition Bourbon Bar, and at Coppin’s in the hotel lobby. While it’s not a B-Line stop, The Party Source in Bellevue is across the parking lot from New Riff Distilling. This employee-owned liquor store is home to more than 20k different products, everything from bar tools and glassware to a wide variety of wines, beers, and spirits.
