We’ve Got 6 of the Best Bourbon Bars in America, Plus One

Woohoo! We’re thrilled to announce that all six bourbon bars here on The B-Line were named 2020’s Best Bourbon Bars in America on this year’s list from the Bourbon Review! That means every year since we created The B-Line bourbon trail, all of our bars made the list of America’s best bourbon bars. We know we’ve got something special to offer bourbon connoisseurs and the bourbon curious here in Northern Kentucky, but it’s wonderful to see the word getting out.

In order to qualify for The B-Line, each bar must keep in stock at least 100 labels of bourbon, preferably Kentucky Bourbon. Some of our bars are huge overachievers. At last count, Prohibition Bourbon Bar stocked more than 2600 and the Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar (OKBB) had more than 600.

Each B-Line bourbon bar also keeps in stock all available labels from every B-Line Distillery: New Riff Distilling, Boone County Distilling Co., the Old Pogue Distillery, Neeley Family Distilling, and Second Sight Spirits. And, of course, they all offer bourbon flights and a variety of bourbon cocktails. Those bourbon pours and mixed drinks are served by very knowledgeable staff—each establishment has to complete Stave and Thief Establishment Level Certification through Moonshine University.

Congrats to all of our Bourbon Bars!

In addition to all of our bars making the list, congratulations to B-Line restaurant, Tousey House Tavern! Their excellent bourbon selection garnered them a spot as one of the Best Bourbon Bars 2020.

Since we’re still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, please check the hours of each place before heading there for a pour. As of this writing, Prohibition Bourbon Bar has very limited hours, but the other five bars are open as usual. All of them have safety and hygiene protocols in place. You will need to wear your facemask until you’re seated and drinking.
